Greenhouse gas assessments

  • GHG emission modelling: We undertake modelling of emissions and comparative scenario testing for proposed capital investments or policy options to estimate potential emissions for a given activity. Our modelling and reporting approach follows ISO14604 and GHG Protocol principles ensuring comparability and alignment with international best practice.

  • GHG quantification and reporting: We work with organisations and their suppliers to quantify and report on their embodied and operational emissions profile (GHG inventory), embodied carbon, and other environmental impacts. This helps organisations understand and communicate their climate impact, identify areas of risk, compare with competitors and ask the right questions to make meaningful changes and inspire action.

  • Accredited GHG emissions verification: We provide clients with an accredited verification service for their GHG emissions reporting against the ISO14604 standard. As part of our verification service, we provide strategic advice on improving future reporting processes..

  • Supply chain emissions modelling: Our proprietary model measures the indirect emissions that occur as a consequence of economic activities. For example, an investment in a public transport project will result in a set of consequential changes in the operation of the economy, both during the operation and construction phases. We use our model to estimate the range of indirect emissions (or abatement), associated with other changes in the economy, which goes beyond the direct emissions.

  • Investment portfolio impact: We work with public, private and philanthropic organisations to understand and report on the environmental impacts (positive and negative) and risk profile of their investment portfolio. This enables organisations to better align their investments with their broader strategies and values.
