Statistical and data analysis

  • Predictive modelling: We provide probabilistic predictions for potential events. These predictions are generated using advanced statistical models (including Bayesian analysis), by aggregating any number of expert predictions (using prediction markets or prediction polls), or a combination of these methods.

  • Forecasting: We employ statistical modelling techniques, such as econometric and time series analysis, to provide future projections for a range of industries, including retail sales, house prices and employment.

  • Statistical inference: We apply advanced analytical techniques to assist organisations to better understand relationships in their data, or to quantify the effect of interventions such as policy or network changes.

  • Machine learning: We have experience developing and implementing a range of machine learning models to assess outcomes such as urban form change, forecast company revenue and to classify land uses.

  • Bespoke models: We regularly develop bespoke models for public and private sector clients, including survey aggregation models, gravity models, optimisation modelling and uncertainty models.

  • Big Data: We have the systems and tools to perform analysis on the largest of datasets, allowing organisations to get the most of their data.
